Delicious Doodles Just Inspirational Challenge

Hello Crafty friends and welcome to another Just inspirational Challenge

This week we are sponsored by the Wonderful Delicious Doodles

Which have some great little images. That it is truly hard to pick just one image. So I started with the JIC picture this week and took my inspiration from that
So from the photo, I took the colour scheme as my inspiration. I always enjoy a little challenge and working in a monochromatic colour scheme really falls into the challenging category for me. So out came my trusty copics and this is what I was able to come up with

I was really happy with my out come and was quite pleased that I was actually able to stay within the chromatic colour scheme
the copics I used are

Copic colours:

E50, E51, E53, E55
E11,E93,E30,E31,E33,E34,E35, E37
YR12, YR21, YR23, YR24
Y15, Y17, Y18, Y26,and Y 28

Now it's your turn

Now it's your turn guys get on to Just Inspirational challenges for all the details on how to participate with this weeks challenge. You can also see all of team A inspiration. Make a card from your interpretation of the JIC picture and you will be in the draw to win not 1, not 2, but Four fabulous images from Delicious Doodles.
I can't wait to see what you come up with, and please leave a comment if you like what you see.
Till next time my lovely crafty friends

Happy Stamping

Kenny K's You Twilight my Life

KENNY K's You Twilight my life

Hi Crafty Friends,
Just wanted to share with you a Twilight themed project I made for the Kenny K's Facebook Contest
Kenny K's are running a contest on there face book page and giving a freebie digital Edward Stamp  that you can find here
When I saw the Edward image I just Knew I had to give it a go TEAM EDWARD!
this is what I came up with

I used a wooden 3D frame which was painted black and then dried brush with silver paint to add a bit more sparkle
the back of the frame was covered in a DCWV the Immortal Love stack
this was my guilty paper stack that I brought a couple of years ago just because it was a twilight theme
I then coloured my Edward with copic marker's and fussy cut around him.
the extra embellishments are from my stash

A closer look of my lovely Edward I even sparkled him with my Spica pens

I really enjoyed making this project It has been a while since I read these books I might have to go dust them off and read them again.
My beautiful daughter was eying my little project off this morning so I think I will surprise her tomorrow and hang it in her room.
It's all about sharing the Love for Team Edward LOL
Thanks for looking

Dannii

Dr Digi Just Inspiraltional Challenge

Hello Crafty friends ,

Here's another post for the Just Inspirational challenge
so this week Its team A's go and we are using some great images from Dr Digi

here's the picture for our inspiration

I took my inspiration from the colours that are in this picture.
I always find using lots of different colours at once a little bit of a challenge and this one was no exception.
I also must confess I have a guilty pleasure of poke-dots. So into my stash to find some printed paper which was not hard to find
I used a great image from Dr Digi called Slam dunk Duncan
Here's what I came up with
Slam Dunk Duncan was coloured with copics

The colours use were:
Skin- E57, E49,E59,R20
Hair-C2,C4,C6,C7,and C9
Basket Ball- YR15, YR16, YR18
Uniform Singlet- B01, B02,B04 Numbers Y13,Y15,Y17
Uniform Shorts- B12, B16, B24, B29
Socks- B01 B02
Shoes- B01,B02,B04
Head Band- BV02, BV11 and BV13

The background papers used on the card were from my own stash
I also used a brick stencil and used distress inks
Dried Marigold, Tea dye, Barn Door and spiced marmalade
on whisper white Stampin' Up card stock
I tore the edges of the brick work and distressed the edges with Barn door distress ink.
The sentiment is actually a Kaisercraft clear stamp from the new release Confidence.

Now its your go!
Take your Inspiration from the JIC photo and create a card and link up your design to the JIC Team A Challenge
Dr Digi is giving the lucky winner a free digi of your choice for the winning entry
so get in there and have a go
I am looking forward to checking out your entries
