I am not dead yet!!!

Hi Everyone,
It's been quite a while since my last post not much of a blogger I must admit but I just wanted to let you all know that I am not dead yet!!!!. In fact I have been very busy with some extra training. I have been teaching copic coloring at a wonderful store in Drouin called Scrap -2-relax I was very lucky to be given this position and I have been really enjoy the classes with some very talented and clever ladies.
I also had the privilege thanks to Karen at S2R to do my basic and intermediate copic training and I am now a certified copic designer it was a wonderful 2 day training course which was an excellent experience.
 Which brings me to why I have decided to blog again. I have really been enjoying my copic coloring but I need to start sharing my work so that I can grow my skills and share my love with other like minded crafter's. So I have challenged myself to start entering my work on a few of the challenges in blog land and to start blogging the cards I have been making since I started using alcohol markers and of course to try and keep this blog current with some interesting posts.
So bear with me lovelies I'll be back soon with my latest creation to share with you all.

Stampin for a girls night in

Well what a day I've had designing and stamping christmas cards for the Girls Night In. Which will be on the 6th of October.

I have finally finished the projects and I am pretty happy with what I've accomplished today.

 To keep the Profits high on the night I have set a few rules for myself to only use one stamp set. My stamp set of choice for this project was Welcome Christmas a very lovely and traditional set.

 I have struggled with the rules and finaly broke them this afternoon and added a stampin around wheel music notes which combines quite nicely with welcome Christmas. The project looks wonderful and I am hoping that the girls will love them too.

 This will be our 4th fundraiser for the cancer council and we hope the best ever but it's always hard to keep the projects simple enough for the first time stamper and still new and challanging enough for the more practiced stamper, but I think with todays proto types I have found a happy medium.

I shall post a sneak peek of the christmas projects tomorrow.

Patrick's 16th Birthday cards

 My olderest son Patrick just recently turned 16 a scary prospect for any mother. You suddenly become aware of how quickly your children are growing when they reach a milestone like turning 16 and getting there driver's licence anyhow this is a card I created which was cased from an ACT swap one of my downlines received at the last Stamping' Up! convention in Melbourne.

Another Birthday card for Pat's Birthday He's football crazy so this card suits him to a "T"

And a gift wallet which was full of Birthday money and matches the other cards with the use of the SU owl. Just too cute with his little footy Jumper GO PIES!!!!
